We charge out at $800 per day for the basic rate. 10am - 6pm. That covers the studio, Brian Baker as producer and engineer and any playing he does - He can play bass, acoustic, electric guitars, keyboards - synths and piano, and do vocals, vocal arrangements and string arrangements, and sensational drum programming too! 

Clients are supplied a mixed and mastered copy of their songs on MP3 and as a WAV file that's ready to go on a CD or be uploaded to Spotify etc.... You can be confident that all your bases are covered at no extra cost.

We can usually get a song finished in a day depending on what's involved but generally can at the very least supply a very good demo after a days work. If there are tweaks or additional recording or mixing to be done after that it might be extra but if it's minimal we usually don't charge.

The studio comes with the expertise and experience of Brian Baker. Brian is a very experienced music producer. He's worked with Eddie Rayner, (Split Enz and Crowded House), Hugh Padgham (Sting, Phil Collins, Paul McCartney, Peter Gabriel, Geoff Emerick), David Briggs (The Little River Band) plus many award winning artists and writers over many years in Australia. Brian will not only help you shape your songs into the best shape they can be but is also on hand to provide excellent bass, keyboard and guitar parts and put them together into stellar arrangements. He has access to other musicians worldwide who can give your production a real lift. For the singer/songwriter, having your song produced by Brian is this beautiful studio can really be a "one stop shop! "

Drum kit hire and maintenance plus session drummer

NSR are very fortunate to have the wonderful Brad MacMillan available for all your drum needs. Brad has a selection of kits and equipment - see the list below - all available for hire. Your selected set up will be ready when your session starts - tuned, cleaned and ready to go! Mix and match from a variety of snares and set ups. And if you require a session drummer for your track Brad is always on hand to deliver the drum track to make your song come alive. 

His rates are;
